I want to know the 'vibe' of the said areas and which area has large single home mansions, nice views and laid-back. There is no budget. I don't want to live like sardines. Which city has more going on? Which city is better for the rich? Which city is nicer? How and why?

Palm Beach isn't part of Miami.

Do you mean South Florida? If you want mansions with plenty of room that cater more to the wealthy class, Palm Beach is probably the better fit.

If you want more things to do move to Miami Beach. If you want somewhere quieter move to Palm Beach.

I have a feeling Palm Beach may be the better fit for you. Everything is kept immaculate and very private, it reminds me a lot of Beverly Hills. That said, there's definitely much less to do than Miami Beach. You might be able to get the best of both worlds in Bal Harbour, Key Biscayne, or one of a few other communities around Miami. And if money is really no object you could do Star Island.

Oh I didn't know. Is Palm Beach or Miami Beach better than Miami for my criteria? Thanks

I don't believe anyone has mentioned Coconut Grove which IMO would be a good option with an unlimited budget. I also would recommend Cocoplum or Gables by the Sea which are off the beaten path enough but still fairly easy to get to more lively places.

So are you moving to South Florida, Atherton, or the Hampton’s? I’ve seen your other threads...
