A few months back I visited Miami to link up with a couple friends. I spend a lot of time in Naples, so I was excited to see the east-coast side. I spent most of my time right near South Beach and while I had a great time (this trip was mainly to see friends), I felt like I missed out on a lot of true Miami places.

I am hoping to go back within the next couple months and actually plan the trip better. Any MUST DO or SEES in Miami? I'm in my late 20s but I am over a lot of the overhyped late-night scene. THANK YOU!

I did make a short video on this, but you might be disappointed, as you can see I did not get a ton in LOL.

Deering estate is nice if you like a laid back tour and a little history. There's a nice place on the water to relax and maybe have a picnic. Airboat rides in the everglades is pretty nice. You can always take a ride to Key Largo and ride the glass bottom boat at John Pennekamp state park. If you like salt water fishing, there are head boats that go out of Haulover Marina, Bayside and Key Largo as well.

I'll note this!!! I definitely need to explore more of the Keys, so I will jot down these ideas - sounds so fun! Thanks!

For diverse and different neighborhood vibes on the mainland you could check out Wynwood, Design District, Little Havana, Brickell, and Coconut Grove…include Vizcaya Museum & Gardens.
