I have no comment...one way or the other....just posting the news for Miami

"Miami-Dade Public Schools, Florida’s largest school district, is dropping its controversial mask mandate, allowing parents to opt their children out of the rule."

"Parents of students in all schools, including K-8 centers and elementary schools, will now be able to choose whether their children wear facial coverings through a parental opt-out provision. Parents wishing to avail themselves of this provision will need to complete an opt-out form and return it to their child’s school. Forms can be downloaded at https://backtoschool.dadeschools.net/ or obtained at their child’s school. Additionally, fully vaccinated employees at all schools may choose not to wear facial coverings."

Terrible idea. Kids haven’t even had a chance to be vaccinated fully yet. I sense the protests are coming.

The kids vaccine was just approved like 2 weeks ago. you have to wonder why they just didn't keep it in place until the semester is over and start fresh in January with a new policy after the holiday break

The same reason CDC gave the all clear signal back in May smack in the middle of a half-baked "vaccine" campaign with the train wreck of the delta variant clearly headed our way, and tons of people from all over headed to Orlando for summer break like a bunch of crazed adolescents ready to kiss the train head on in a drunken stupor.

And they all shouted, "Vaccine, vaccine!"

Like it was the fertility goddess.

How cute!

The alert level in Miami-Dade County has recently been reduced to yellow, I believe (not red, not orange), so that is probably the sign that county officials were looking for, but, yeah, out of an abundance of caution they could have waited until at least January, if not March.

I wish all the children and all the families the best of health.
