Nice 2nd half adjustments, defense tightened the screws and Jimmy Buckets took over…..didn’t hurt having Horford and Smart out for game 1–need to take advantage of those circumstances, which the Heat did.

They certainly turned it around in the second half. Although, I was suspicious of Boston's lead only being eight points at the half as bad as Miami played. My hunch was correct that if Miami started playing better things would quickly change.

They gave up WAY too many easy lay ups in the first half.

So far, so good, but....

After what happened to the Mavs yesterday after their big lead evaporated, I'm not going to get too excited yet.

And just like that, a 26 point lead gets trimmed to 15 as the Heat forget how to play offense and Boston closes the first half on a 10-0 run.

Not a good way to close the half. Better hope Lowry plays the 2H—different team with him in there v Vincent and Turnover Tyler. Bam went from Bambi to Lion King. Would be nice if refs called fouls on Butler who gets hit every play.

They won't get a chance as Butler has been ruled out for the second half due apparently to knee inflammation.

Small victory maintaining the 15 point lead after 3Q with Butler out. Good job Oladipo.

Inconsistent officiating.

And an 8-0 Boston run cuts it to 9 with 9 minutes to go.

Spo needs to sit Herro and give Robinson or someone else a chance to shoot. He just doesn't have it tonight. He's currently 4-15 and 0-6 from deep. Pathetic.
