Hmmm...I don't believe I've ever seen any in Miami, although they sure could use them.

I haven't seen one yet. And if they are there, they probably don't even work They are probably just like the traffic lights that they installed at the expressway entrances (Like cali has) that don't work.

Unfortunately, they don't exist in Miami yet... I can't wait for them to be installed... I can't tell you how many close calls I have seen with people running red lights blatantly... Red light running is extremely dangerous and I hope they are installed in every major intersection as soon as possible...

And I wouldn't tell you where they were even if I knew...

Drive safely...

Major cities that have red light cameras throughout: Albuquerque, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, and Washington, DC, plus thousands of smaller communities.

Essentially every large city in America, except for Miami. Why are we always so behind the rest of the country?! Just once--in one instance--I wish Miami was cutting edge or leading the way on something instead of always falling behind.

^^ dont be so gloomy and at the same time clueless. Miami, Pembroke Pines, North Miami and Aventura are all installing these cameras if not already installed. Aventura , North Miami and Miami approved them in February and Pembroke Pines installed them I believe last month or March. The state of Florida is actually pushing for as much of these cameras as possible throughout the state.

And just from memory or what I remember doesn't Weston have these cameras? I think I recall seing them. Not sure.

Pembroke Pines, unincorporated North Miami, and Aventura are not Miami...completely different jurisdictions.

As far as them being installed around Miami--I have yet to see any (and I keep a pretty close eye out). Any ideas where they are? Miami Beach or the Gables perhaps? Just curious...or is this yet another thing that gets approved, but never actually gets done...

North Miami is an incorporated city isn't it?
Anyways The City of Miami did approve them in February.
Heres a link to a news article before the commission approved them in February. City of Miami (http://www.miamigov.com/cms/comm/1724_4814.asp - broken link)
