Not only white Americans, black Americans also hate Latins.
This is so utterly stupid.

I've never heard anyone say they hate Hispanics on these forums. I've heard a lot of people say they hate being told to learn another language in the city of their birth just because there's been an invasion of people who refuse to assimilate. Maybe the reason Californians aren't so 'xenophobic' towards Asians is because the Asians aren't insisting everyone else learn Hindi, Persian, or any of the other languages in mainland Asia.

Completely irrelevant since Florida and Miami were part of the Spanish empire to begin with. There is no such thing as official language. So if anything Spanish is indeed the language of that land.

Asians have to learn English in California in order to get a job. That's not the case for hispanics in South Florida since most jobs require the use of Spanish because Miami is Latin America operations center for a lot of companies.

Anyhow, are you telling me that Americans when they live abroad, make it their first priority to learn the local language??? Because I have witnessed most of them in Europe seeking out other Americans and expecting locals to know English.

LOL. Talk about living in the past. That cracks me up about a "spanish Empire". Beating up a bunch of primitive cultures and raping their land for gold is nothing to be proud of. Spain hasn't had much of an 'empire' since we kicked their butts in the Spanish-American war.

As it should be.

The smart ones do. I don't even go to VISIT a country without learning enough to get by (buying and selling, numbers, time, transportation). Of course I only go to countries that I am interested in so I enjoy learning a little bit of the language. It's even easier now that so many language aids come on electronic devices. Ten years ago I had to lug books around.

-----------

The same thing English did illegally on Spanish soil (North America). (Treaty of Tordesillas 1494). Oh, yes, they treated Indians very kindly. They perpretated a Holocaust on them.

Then, I presume that you never venture out of Continental US.

Well, all the educated or semi-educated hispanics I came across in South Florida spoke English no problem.

Same reason it's low in Orlando. Its so far from the west coast and not many people from asia know anything about miami. Recently asians have been moving to the east US more and more. East asians are still very rare in florida though most are south east asian (philipines, vietnam etc).

[quote=Bostonian08;4019954] I think Miami is too wild for the Asian cultures. The are so modest. Asia is about a traditional tea ceremony - Miami is about shaking mambas.quote]

you're effing retarded. learn about asian americans in depth before you say dumb sh1t about us like that. you clearly never met many asian americans. believe it or not, we love to party just as hard as anyone else, and no, we do not do it by being modest and drinking effing tea. think before you speak
