There's a Chinatown in Little Havana.
They are transplants from Barrio Chino, Havana.
Cantonese.
Most Chinese left for Miami, there are only 900 Chinese left in Cuba.
Barrio Chino in Havana is now thriving since Chinese Gov't invested a lot of money, unfortunately there are almost no Chinese there.
Chinese Cuban Americans own thriving Chinese restaurants and Flower shops.
Many brought family from Hong Kong.
Second generation are mostly professionals graduated in good universities, so I guess that many of their retail business are now closed.
Chinese are called "Chinos", no problem whatsoever.
They are extremely popular in Cuban culture since times when they amounted to 5 per cent of population.

I agree with Miami Vice, there is some hate going on here but can you blame them; All the Asians do is work hard, educate their kids, save money, stay out of jail and treat others with respect.

BTW, Brazil has the biggest number of Asians outside Asia and plenty of hot Asians with good bodies and etc....

I agree with you on this one. Spanish were horrible but British were way worse. So racist, they never mixed with Africans or Indians and that's why this country has so much racial tension. They killed them or sent them to the Everglades swamps to die after they have been here for like 20,000 years . And now they feel invaded...

It is inevitable that when two cultures of vastly different tech levels meet the superior tech one will eliminate the lower one. Rather that elimination happens through force or through cultural attrition it will happen. Most native Americans today are fully integrated into American society and embrace Western culture. It is only because htey resisted assimilation during the colonization period that they suffered and were forced west. I won't defend everything that happened I think what the Spanish did was much worse.
By the way, isn't this supposed to be a thread about Asians (Orientals, East-Asians, etc.)?

Oh, yes, they mixed with Indians during the XVII, XVIII and early XIX Century. Settlers and explorers didn't bring women with them.
40 percent of "Anglo" population have Indian DNA markers.
More than 42 percent have Sub-Saharan DNA markers.
Of course, more than 50 percent of them are entirely white, the rest are whitewashed Mexicans and PR.
I guess that White anglos are very recent European arrivals, probably arrived during the past century.
No wonder they love Taco Viva so much, it's in their genes.

Spanish used Indians as labour and as bedmates, since Spanish women travelled bad.
English treated Indians as explorers, allies and bedmates during the first stage, and as vermin during the second stage.
But of course, you can't compare two societies since Latin America is 150 years older.
Latin America should be compared to America 150 years from now.
