It has to do with proximity. That is the reason why California has a larger asian population than Florida.

Yeah.. I figured that would be pretty common sense, but apparently not.

If we only by percentages Florida is miniscule. But in absolute numbers its 7th in the nation in Asian. Miami specifically has a low Asian population, but Orlando not only has a descent Asian population, but it also has 2 Vietnamese ethnic Enclaves. Miami is funny, what is is about Doral that has such a high percentage Asian population? Doral's at like 6% Asian now, that's higher than the national average. And alot of those clothcing/art stores in the Design district are Korean clothing stores. Its like a weird secret about that area.

Asians won't immigrate to X city because is filled with X people? @_@

I'm gonna have to disagree on this one. That's like saying that Asians never immigrated to Brazil because is filled with Brazilians... nor the Chinese immigrated to Peru, Cuba or South Africa because is filled with people from those countries.

Honestly, it's difficult for us Asian to compete against Cuban for a job when the official language in Miami is Spanish and the boss happens to be Hispanic. I'm just saying.
