Nobody notices the Asians unless you know one and will notice Asians when they see them in public. I bet the people that hardly ever see Asians really never spoke to one before except to put in their order or associate with them outside of work or some sort of business. They fly under the radar and like it that way because where they came from, being the squeeky wheel is not accepted. Asians notice every type of people around them because nobody really pays attention to them.

I disagree. You will definitely notice the Asian population in Boston.

That's Boston. We're talking about Miami. I know of many Asian communities in Boston, Lowell, and even in Providence.

That's also besides the point. Did you associate with many in Miami?

The point of this thread is that Miami has a very low Asian population. So how is one suppose to associate with Asians if there's none to associate with?

Nobody goes out consciously thinking they want to meet an Asian person. If they're not around they're not around. Since this is the age of the internet, you can basically meet any race of people within your area. You're posting with an Asian person right now so now you've associated with one. Happy now? You didn't even have to go to Japan to do it too.
