Google Street View previously only covered a very small portion of South Florida. Now it covers tons of full neighborhoods! I actually found my house here in West Palm Beach on it. Give it a try:

maps.google.com

Click on 'street view'.

Wow they added a lot. They have my street and the picture is current but the weird thing is that according to the map it is still an open rock pit. Maybe the guys in the google vans should tell the map guys that there are actual streets and houses there now.

Good catch.

But I cannot believe this!!!! My parents' street got skipped over . It's like the guy in the van did a circle around their street. There are a lot of other streets that weren't covered in surrounding neighborhoods as well. That sucks! I wanted to see what the new neighbors' house looks like since my mother says they have made it look like a shopping center.

My old street that I lived on in South Miami is also still not up. Argh!

If they're gated or private neighborhoods/streets then they're not covered.

Nope, completely not gated in either case.

Parents are in East Kendall near Killian High and my old place is on SW 55 Ave and SW 78 St.

This I have loved this since it's come out, and now I am on it more than ever! It's really cool to "drive down" a street and see all the houses up close.
