I live near Boca Raton and they have the Palace PREMIER by Muvico here and it is awesome. very private 50 seating area with private entrance, big plush chairs that are almost like sofa's, free valet service and free popcorn AND you can bring in food and alcohol and watch the movie. Its expensive though..two people will set you back 40 bucks...but worth it in my opinion. And yes....it's for adults only. Don't know about Miami though....let me know if you do hear of one since I am curious and often visit my parents in Miami and would love to know the where abouts of this type of theater.

They have an upscale new movie theater at Dolphin Mall, I don't know if its 21+ but I'm pretty sure it is. It's pricey and they serve dinner with the movie. It's about 20 bucks a ticket but it is really upscale and clean. I forgot the name of the theater but it was a good experience.

When I saw the title to this thread I naturally thought the OP meant theaters with 21 or more screens. There are enough of those out there that I was surprised that someone would have to ask about it. I never thought of age.
When I was in college at FSU there were some theaters that had tables and served food and alcohol. I wouldn't have called them upscale but it was a nice, different experience.

In Dolphin mall theres a 21+ boutique theater with dining, cocktails and luxury seats. Its got a lounge feel. Pricees are under $20 I think it was 15 bucks. Its a real nice place if you just wanna get out of the tween crowd that invade every movie theater.
