Too expensive, too crowded and too hot. Definately not a great place to live anymore.

All the keys are hotter at night than the mainland. There are also fewer storms to cool off during the day.

You may think that the breeze would help but the keys are surrounded by ocean waters in the upper 80's which gives off alot of humidity.

are you kidding?

I am from NY half the people we know down here are from "up north"

NY, NJ, Detroit , etc or they are from Eastern Europe

I like Key West because there isn't a ton of stupid red necks tough guys, and Spanish people are normal not super macho like Miami.

Plus there is actually diversity, some of the other Keys seem like its just old ass white people. Which maybe will fine once I am old , but right now I need some stuff going on.

Bonus is that Key West fought for the north in civil war, so you don't get those people still fighting the civil war in their heads

What do you have against New Yorkers, New Englanders, etc...? Stay away? I will be happy to stay away from someone who has such hatred toward nothern folks. Don't assume that everyone from up north is rude and doesn't "want to live peacefully and comfortable". BTW, I will be moving to Miami soon and will be in Key West frequently my friend so as Tony Montana would say, "Here come the bad guy"........
