Tropical storm warnings presently with the winds affecting the keys in the late evening with winds between 40-50 mph and possibly as high as 59mph.

Right now Gustav is a category 4 hurricane with winds at 150 mph going through the western part of Cuba.

150MPH + 175MPH of Gusts, after it leaves Cuba HOPEFULLY it'll go back to category 3 and it weakens.

It's being said it could reach a cat 5 by tomorrow morning once it gets back over water into the gulf.

Is there always this much activity during the season? It looks like theres another depression near Africa that looks like it could take the same path as Andrew.. or do they usually start in about the same places?

We are getting into peak season now. You have waves that come off the African coast this time of the year which is why it seems to be so many.

I love all the rain I have been getting! Not much wind, and no sun today. I like it!
