Beauty that's only skin deep at best. You'll find a lot of posers and wannabes in Miami, none of which have any substance or any redeeming qualities and are just eye candy. Eye candy is great to look at for a while, then the novelty (quickly) fades. If your thing is posing, then Miami is certainly for you. When the novelty fades, you may end up with a burning desire to move to a nondescript small town in North Carolina. Miami is ALL about superficial image, which is fine if superficiality floats your boat.

In certain places like South Beach at certain times you'll likely see a lot of attractive people, but if you look at the whole city overall I think it's full of average to ugly people, probably 90% of the city is average to ugly.In South Beach it might be 35% attractive and 65% average to ugly.

This is true, many beautiful people in Miami, but beauty does not equate brains.

According to the U.S. Department of Education, Miami-Dade County 52 percent of the population lacks basic literacy. Compared with other counties in the state of Florida, Miami-Dade has the lowest literacy rates by a margin of about 20 percent, 53 percent are high school grads, 30% less than the national average and only 9% have college degrees, 40% lower than national average.

source? You should compare cities not national average. Cities average is 50%

Miami is average. Denver Dallas Atlanta and other cities have lower rates than Miami

If I ever move back to Miami, I guess I'll be a country trailer type since I'm not a nerd..

Miami has beautiful women but so does Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, ect, ect..

Usually warm weather cities have more attractive people because they can be outside (tan & with year round exercise) vs. people from up north that spend half the year indoors due to bad weather..

Funny how you people whine about being hit with sweeping generalizations, yet you seem to be guilty of doing exactly the same thing. Then you wonder why people don't like Miami.
