Just about everyone is an 'outsider' in Miami. So many people move there from somewhere else.

Um, this thread is 7 years old. So not sure who you're talking to. But, it was entertaining to see that back then, Spanish was banned on C-D apparently, because a very short phrase was cut by a moderator (but is still there from a later quote), purely for being in Spanish. lol!

Yeah, I know this thread is 7 years old, but this line got to me. The OP doesn't even see that thinking this would impress someone is one of the worst parts of the Miami mentality. I'd be more impressed if he had said he volunteers at a homeless shelter, works for the fire department and is restoring an old Mustang. Then I could believe he was far from ghetto.

i know traffic is tough but it doesnt bother that much! i just crank up my bass and go with the flow..people are mean? oh well..KENDALL,HIALEAH,OPA LOCKA,WESTCHESTER,FLAGLER,MIAMI BEACH SOUTH BEACH,COCONUT GROVE,MIAMI SHORES,DORAL..I LOVE THEM ALL!!! im NEVER moving!!!

So name 5 things you love about Miami. Is it the beaches, night life, attractions, music, work opportunity, cost, entertainment, action, schools, shopping, people, or what? What are 5 things you love about Miami.

Then try to name 3 bad things about Miami. You sound like you are in a Honeymoon phase living in a city where everything is good right now. Have you lived there long enough to be over the Honeymoon phase? Can you name 3 things you don't like about Miami?

I love many sections of Miami.

I just cannot afford to live out on one of the islands or spend $5 million on a home.

Otherwise, common every day Miami is a dump. Very sub-standard of living for the common working man.

LOL, that's great. I can only imagine what you said. Hahah...

I totally agree. I love Miami... it's my favorite city in the entire world, and I've been all over the place, to every continent multiple times except the poles... and Miami is still my favorite.
