hello,

I am looking to rent an apartment fairly near Aventura and the Oleta River State Park area. I went to see an apt today in the Portalegre Building on NE 170th st and 22nd Ave. I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on this particular area in terms of how safe it is, since I am a single female and will be living alone. The 1/1.5 apt is listed for $750 which seems low for what I am seeing in this area, so I would be grateful on any input any of you have.

thanks in advance.

I've heard absolutely nothing good about north miami beach. Try to find a roommate and look for something in the coconut grove area.

$750!! Way too cheap for south florida. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

I wouldn't rent in North Miami Beach. Not even for $400 a month. It is not safe at all.
