It's a pop/soft rock station. Like best of 70s-today kind of pop music. Soft listening.

101.5 - lite rock station
88.9 - real jazz (kind of weak reception at times)

Not quite the same as Love 94. I'm still pretty miffed over the change.

The commercials where actually from the late 80's and it was a male model young Richard Gere looking guy who had a flock of women after him in the commercials ... I remember reading a story years later that the guy ended up moving to SoCal to try and become an "actor " and cash in on his five minutes of fame ... never saw him on movies or TV so I guess he did not make it in Tinseltown

My girlfriend loved the guy as well and she would become pissed at me when I would say he looked gay ... I used to say the same to her about George Michael and voila ... I was right

I know he fellow that did this commercial in the 80's, Mike Holmgren. He did two T V commercials one in Coral Gables walking down the street with the girls following him.

Love 94 is indeed now transmitting off HD2... tune in at 93.9 HD2 for the old Love 94... it's like it never went away, exactly the same as before.

93.9 HD1 is WMIA, a mix of 80's freestyle and contemporary pop like Lady Gaga, BEP, Ke$ha, etc. "The Sound of Miami."
