All presidents speak from behind bullet proof glass, and have so for decades. You'd think everybody wanted Bush dead, but there wasn't even a scare, nobody even came close to killing Bush. Obama will be fine.

That camera crew picked off what it thought looked like the poorest, oldest and dumbest McCain supporters. Half of those people interviewed (and 100% of the ones who made racist remarks) were elderly people. It was a kind of unethical reporting, and you don't even hear the questions that the reporters asked them, they could have "fed" them racist questions - and only recorded the racist answers.

If I did the same in the ghetto (feed the poorest blacks race baited questions) you would find the same filthy points of view. Also, if I was black, I would have voted for Obama too, I'm not about to patronize any black for that, I would have done the same. I just can't wait to see and hear the hypocrisy from blacks in 4 or 8 years when it is apparent that Obama did nothing to help blacks, only give them free money checks like Johnson started in the 1960's. I expect he will still be their messiah!!!

"Come get a 'stack' from your local Obama office" LoL

Belive it or not its already the case. At his speech at the University of Miami, a group of idiot black people had to be removed because they were protesting Obamas lack of attention towards the black community. You heard Jesse Jackson say he wanted to remove a very important body part from Obama because he was acting "above" black people.

But imagine if a Cuban American ran for president. He would capture at least 90% of the cuban vote and I'm sure it would be a major victory for Cuban Americans. Its no different here.

If there was a Cuban or White man or woman who had the qualifications and affiliations that Hussein has I WOULD NOT vote for that person regardless of what party they belonged to. I feel Hussein was and still is unqualified to hold the position. His color has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with my vote.

The election results screamed what sharp political analysts have known for years, that the Republican base is steadily diminishing. Angry whites can still spew hate and bigotry on message boards like this, but their numbers are eroding at the ballot box, headed toward irrelevancy. In 1988 the white vote was 85% of the total. In 2008 it was 75%. The decline had been consistent, about 2% every cycle. In 2004 it was 77%. Plus some states are even more dramatic, like here in Nevada and neighboring New Mexico. Those states were essentially over before the first ballot was counted, simply due to the reality of the makeup of the electorate. Nevada moved from 77% white voters in 2004 to 69% this year.

Let's see, forfeit 90+% of the black vote, 2/3 of the Hispanic vote, simultaneous to your white Limbaugh-listening base falling by the wayside all the time. Marvelous strategy.

A party relies on white married voters in an era with fewer and fewer whites in this country, and the typical marrying age getting increasingly older. Does not compute.

I suggest the Republicans find a landslide candidate of their own. Otherwise the numbers don't add up for them. There was a reason that book, "Emerging Democratic Majority" was published about 8 years ago. Their projections were astute and legit, merely delayed by 9/11 impact on the white female vote, the so-called security moms who have never fully returned to Democrats, even this year when white females preferred McCain 53-46.

Pundits and tunnel vision message board posters thrill to rip Sarah Palin, but that 53-46 shouts that she prevented an even more lopsided loss for McCain. Look at it this way, in 2006 the House vote was 7.9% in favor of Democrats, but the white female vote was only 1% for Republicans, 50-49. In an Obama win of this magnitude, the white women should have similarly broken near even, perhaps a 2-3 point gap for McCain. The only logical conclusions for the 53-46 are bigotry in some southern states, and Sarah Palin everywhere, siphoning off a percent or several.

You are one of the bigots who thinks all whites are evil - many whites think white people are evil - and that the only good people are liberal, socialist, gay minorities. Just remember, all the food you eat came from a small farm town somewhere in the U.S... filled with people you despise. Whatcha got to say to that?

History is not in your favor, and the minorities who voted for Obama will gladly switch to the GOP if the liberal base tries to impose their gay rights/ anti-family agenda on them.

Why do you refer to him by his middle name?

Again, I just don't get it...the southern whites who voted for McCain, who may or may not know the issues, are racists, but the 92-96% of blacks that voted for Hussein, who may or may not know the issues, are not racists??? Explain please??!! Why is race an issue...I know it was politically correct to vote for Hussein, even if you had no clue as to what the issues were, but just because I voted for McCain and vehemently disagree with Hussein's policies makes me a racist?? Come on now...you can do better than that!!! I'm tired of the nonsensical race card being pulled out whenever it works for you but when you are challenged with FACTS that are easily as prevalent...then it is suddenly okay!! Go figure......

Who pulled the race card? My point was initially to look at the issue of race from both sides of the spectrum. A lot of comments on this board speak of Obama supporters as the "ghetto crowd". I'm just showing that some of McCain's supporters have the qualities that many of you believe Obama's supporters have. You have dumb democrats and dumb republicans.

I am also just trying to make the case that Obama's election whether he is a democrat or republican is a milestone in American History.

And by the way, 92-96% of blacks don't vote on the issues? Come on now. That's an insulting statement. For one, blacks have always voted democratic and were strong supporters of the Clinton Administration. They voted for the man who they felt would best benefit them. Whether you agree with them or not, they have one vote just like you and it counts just as much as yours.

Those McCain supporters I showed you aren't necessarily voting for McCain because they feel he will improve their personal situation. They just didn't want a black president. HUGE DIFFERENCE.

If there was a hispanic presidential candidate, he would capture a large percentage of the hispanic vote. POINT BLANK PERIOD. THATS A FACT. Whether you agree with my other statements or not. Are those hispanic voters racist? No.

The REAL question here is "who voted based on race," not "who is a racist"...

If you want to quantify a percentage of any voting bloc who voted for any candidate based on race, all you need to do is look at the percentage of blacks who voted for Obama. A hefty percentage - not an overwhelming majority - but a large proportion of the 90-92% of blacks voted for Obama so because he is a black guy. How many? We'll never know, but I think I have an idea...

Huge difference, you're right. However, those who voted for McCain because they didn't want a black dude are far fewer than the black voters who voted for Obama because he is black.

That video managed to find the poorest, trashiest white people in the U.S. Don't draw conclusions based on that crap. Also, I applaud you for trying to get into a "You Tube" battle with me. No thanks, I draw my conclusions from other media.

But aren't you often referring to the poorest trashiest black people in the U.S.? That's the point I'm trying to make. Theres extremes on both sides. Not just Obama's side. Obama's supporters are not the only one's who turned this election in to a race issue. Both sides are guilty.
