Hello to all, I will be coming to Miami in late Feb to do an observership at the Mt Sinai Medical Center.

I was searchin for a place to stay and came across one on Harding Avenue and 85th Street. It seems that there is the 120 Beach Max Bus whic goes upto 41st street/Alton Road quite near the Mt Sinai Hospital and there are a few buses which go upto Arthur Godfrey Road and then its a walk upto the hospital.

My query is, is it a good idea to travel such a distance?? On Google Maps it shows 4.9 miles.Looks ok on paper to me. I wont be able to rent a car and so a Metrobus is the only option for me. Also can someone tell me if the 120 BeachMax bus has a good frequency on this route ie from Harding Avenue to 41st Street/Alton Road?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my query.

Buses are fine and on time. I live in the area and would take the bus if I couldn't use my car. Buses should stop close to Mt. Sinai.

There is a parking lot behind a grocery store or something on Harding and 95th that has metered parking spaces... Honestly, if the damn #$#$ up there don't take you to the cleaners in their overpriced botiques, they will surely get a few extra pennies out of your pocket for thier private parking lot meters.

I live close to there. Bus is no problem. Heck, I bike to work on the UM Miller School of Med campus...I bike, walk, and bus all over the beach and in Miami. Easily done, just get a map and a schedule.
