Hello everyone,
As part of a design competition, I'm looking to identify the most distressed part of Miami. I was thinking of choosing somewhere within Overtown or Liberty City, but the site needs to be limited to a few blocks. Can anyone tell me the worst blocks (or maybe intersections) in either of these places to help me narrow it down? Many thanks...

If you search this forum, a poster recently posted an entire photo essay of Miami's ghettos. Probably about three months ago.

My suggestion is that you use Google Street View to find the blocks that you find to be visually the worst. Look in the Overtown vicinity.

Are you gonna go in person? If you are competing with Detroit, you will lose.

Crisp444 LOL those were some good shots I have never seen such ugly places. All those people on the street really don't help.

I admit that I have never been to Overtown or Liberty City... I just went down random streets in those neighborhoods and found those shots.

It's pretty ridiculous when people come on here claiming that West Kendall and Hialeah Gardens are ghetto areas... CLEARLY they have never seen neighborhoods that actually are rundown and unsafe.
