I think that the City of Miami should place a big billboard on I-95 saying:

We are not courteous, we speak whatever "nos sale de los cojones", we are careless drivers. If you don't agree, make a U TURN at the next intersection.
Traffic would be backed up 100 miles before that particular intersection, I'm sure (all the U-turners).

In the forum of Montana, they have a large post there saying "Don't go to a place and pretend that they will change their ways to satisfy you. If you want to change our ways, please, don't come".

Appalling logic. Do Miamians go to Montana and force them to brew "cafecitos"?

<sigh> BCreass, I normally ignore the clueless but here goes.

in paris, aside from notre dame one building built in 1977, a few hotels and the eiffel tower there are no tall buildings (sky scrapers). the tall buildings (sky scrapers) were banned by popular vote and an area outside of the city or perhaps on the outskirts was set aside for commercial tall buildings. I think paris' uncluttered and neat skyline adds all the more charm to that delightful city.

I understand that there is a building proposed to be erected called the delanoe tower in the val de seine district which will be the second skyscraper but that is as of yet not erected.

come see me for the gas money.

I see that book borrowed from Hialeah library is serving you well?

...guess where that is? Pretty impressive skyline, even by North American standards.

Here's a clue: it's a place you've clearly never been to.

I suggest saving that gas money you were going to give me for yourself, so that you can buy yourself a clue or two.

Earlier in this thread, you specifically said there were no skyscrapers in Paris, but now you change your story. La Defense is still in Paris, so it counts.

Try harder next time.

That building looks a lot like a similar skyscraper in London known as "The Gherkin".
