....another relatively quiet hurricane season (I think, I hope). Since we're currently in the midst of a recession right now, the last thing we need is a major hurricane.

Well since the rainy season started early, I doubt we are in line for a cat 3 or stronger. As of now I say low hurricane risk. The true test will be to see if the rainy season sticks. If we get rain on a regular basis by September you will have nothing to worry about. The biggest risk I see is a rainy tropical depression giving us a 1999 style flood.

The economy will be fine, so thanks for fixing.

As for hurricanes, I hope we have a quiet year again. I was here during Wilma and Katrina in 2005 and those were scary enough.
