Hi folks,
Moving from NY and I know fruts and vegetables are very expencive in Florida. Is it good idea to grow own fruts and vegetables on the backyard ? Do floridians grow a lot and what kinds ?
Comments are very appreciated.

You will know when your in an ethnic community because you will see the tradition of people growing their own fruit trees in their backyard. I remember in my backyard I had mangos, guavas, avocado, starfruit, bananas, sweet plantains, yuca, guanabanas, oranges, tangerines, limes and lemons. I can't remember all of them either. But then again I lived on two acres not everyone was fortunate to have that much land.
