Does anyone have any information on a cancer cluster in Kendall? Through searching the web, I found there was a group of women " Kendall Lakes Women against Cancer" active in the later 80's b/c of a cluster there and searched for possible environmental links. I grew up in Kendall and both myself and my best friend on the block later developed breast cancer as adults. Wondering if anyone has any info on other cases linked to the area.

Hi - I grew up in Kendall too and have been trying to research the cluster for a while, since my mom had it at in the 80's. I found one article about it, email me and i will forward it to you.

I never knew that one existed there. To my knowledge none of the Kendall area has a history of serious pollution but anything is possible. There is radium in the groundwater in places so it could be possible.

I do research in old dumpsites, groundwater contamination and illnessness related to contamination of the environment. Have cancers been reported throughout Kendall or in a particular neighborhood?
