Hi everyone. I just got accepted into the New World School of the Arts. The school does not have on-campus housing, and I am in need of an affordable apartment that is in a safe area. I don't want to pay more than $500 a month on rent, so I'd like to have two roommates. What are some good 3 bedroom apartments for $1500 or less in Miami that are also in a safe area? Thanks in advance.

Since you're looking at $1500 or so a month, you can get an apartment on Brickell and take the Metromover straight to New World's front door...

I don't think he's going to find a 3 bedroom for $1500 in Brickell. Check craigslist if you're looking for a place where you can room with other people for $500 a month.

You will barely find a 1 bedroom for 1500 in brickell. Try looking in South Miami or Kendall.. your best bet is looking on craigslist and searching for someone looking for a person to rent out a room

I have to agree you need to find some roommates. I would call the school and see if they have a board or a list of other students looking for roommates.

3BR apartments in the city are hard to find period, no matter how much you're willing to pay. My advice would be share a house with roommates somewhere that's walking distance to Biscayne Blvd. but avoid ~80-90th st. There are several direct and frequent bus routes on Biscayne Blvd.

Looking for housing as well. Son will be attending the Wolfson Campus in Fall for the Jazz Music Program.
