Since all of the restaurants in South Haven are full of tourists and there are waiting lines everywhere, we like to drive to Kalamazoo for dinner because it is an interesting town.

My favorites:
1. Shawarma King
2. University Roadhouse
3. Ouzos/Coney Island downtown

Want to visit:
Crows Nest
Cosmos
Rasa Ria

I used to like the Oakwood Bistro quite a bit but they got more expensive and I can't afford them anymore.

Anybody have any favorites to visit?

Saffron - great Indian food! I liked to take people who weren't used to indian food to their buffet on the weekend to introduce them to it.
Erbelli's - great pizza. Check their website for what the daily special is before you go.

I only had the chance to go to Theo and Stacy's once, but the Greek veggie wrap I had there was delicious.

Crow's Nest has an excellent breakfast. I have a lot of food allergies and they are very accommodating. We also enjoy Smashburger on West Main, West Lake Drive-In on Portage Road and Sushiya on East Kalamazoo Avenue.

Di Nicios Parlour on West Main in front of Menards is a great coney island/gyros place. Maybe the best gyros in West Michigan?

It's not technically a restaurant, but Bell's Brewpub had the best BBQ Pork sandwich I've ever had.

I love Shawarma King!!! Even though I've moved away, it's still my favorite restaurant. I used to go there at least twice a week.
