I guess there's a concert bar in escabana MI that has been recently gaining a lot of rep. I hear of bands and rappers playing there all the time.
Not sure what Esky has that could be attracting bands. I am not from there though but maybe someone else knows. There is a casino in Menominee County about 15 miles away. Upfront in Marquette gets some good shows as well. Upfront & Company

Question relocation

We hope to get a transfer here someday--
from WI been in TX since June 2008
Rusty in cold
Winters but grew up In them -23 years

If you were giving a young family direction in where to or not to live what would be some pointers?

Current age of kids 7 months and 2yrs 7 months

We want to live in the country or have some land with space between neighbors
Quiet no loud music playing (currently live so close to my neighbors it makes me want to scream)

What activities for younger kids? What winter storm tips do you have?
What roads or areas are country living, country living with some land potential, country but close enough to town I won't get stranded in snow

Where could we live where I could still drive the kids to school if I didn't want them to take the bus ... So kind of close to town but still country

Is that sugar island safe to live on in winter or will you get stranded??

Jobs? Daycare? yMCA?

Is a minivan a bad idea to drive and better to have an SUV?
