Yesterday, I was looking at a map that showed terrorist attacks that have occurred throughout the United States. Near the bottom of the Keweenaw Peninsula, there was a small dot that showed an "attempted bombing." Does anyone know if this is really true, and if so, when/where/why the bombing was attempted?

It was an attempted fire-bombing at Michigan Tech University. The bomber, from NY, tried to blow up 2 buildings at the university. Do a Google search to find out more.
