The road in front of my house is a river and my back yard is flooded.
I just saw on the news I-475 is closed around I-69 due to flooding...guess I'll be taking an alternate route to work today!

The dogs went out and did their business right off the porch then came right back in. That pic is actually the side/dog yard and they usually romp around there for an hour first thing in the morning.

I saw your title and thought "too much". Then I saw your picture and thought "it wasn't so bad here!". We have REALLY sandy soil, it drains really well, but we did have a small "tank" started with a good couple of feet of standing water.

Of course we now have mosquitoes. My Grandmother grew up in MN, where she used to joke the mosquito was the state bird... I am beginning to wonder.....

Is everyone drying out again? I guess mud isn't as bad as what's going on in the south.... My Grandfather's childhood home of Tuscaloosa was decimated. Glad we went through when we were in the South over the holidays, not sure the building where his family bookstore will be there now... In theory I have decided I don't have much to complain about weather-wise, and I'm glad to live up here (though the wind yesterday had me questioning that!).

I bet someone could make a pretty penny taking wagers how long it is before I slip up and complain again....

I hope tornado season peaked early...

Parts of my yard are still a bit muddy and boggy....it's raining again right now.

I posted that before I knew how bad it was in the south, a flooded yard is nothing to complain about compared the the destruction those poor folks are dealing with.

No mosquitoes yet, but it won't be long! There's some swampy woods just to the north of me (I can hear the peepers when it's quiet) and they'll be here shortly.

We didn't get it as bad as some did.

After last week I was looking forward to getting some things done this week, but it's looking like rain just about every day again.

It's only been a few days and we still have flooded areas yet 9&10 news says VERY HIGH fire danger for most of the LP. Go figure.
