Well...If they did intend the name to be what some think it is...then they have done a good job. Why? Because they got you to talk about it...which is awesome advertising!

I don't like the name and will never go in there. I'm going to make signs and march in front of the place.

Those above statements are just so funny, Missing out on a good meal because you don't like a name makes me laugh. But I do like the fact that there is room in the place for a less biggoted persons without ya'll there.

I see someone marching with a sign I want to know why? you tell me it is because of the name I'll laugh and go in and have a good meal.
Way back many many years ago I told a girl friend that some one sticking a finger up didn't mean a thing unless it was in your head it was a bad thing. Same with the name, only bad if youare a bigot and take it that way.

Sandbo's any one? It's owned by a nice old black couple?

Al

Do Atheists eat at Church's Chicken? And Fuddruckers...what does that REALLY mean?? This topic gets funnier than the actual name, and that really is quite funny in itself.

It's not going to hurt their biz. Not in traverse city....good ole diverse city, we-can-tolerate-anybody-city.

I personally like the name! It is catchy, which I am sure is exactly what the owner intended it to be!!!

The name is degrading to two ethnic groups -- that's why it's bad. I know political correctness goes too far sometimes, but this really is offensive to many people.

Who cares really. If the food and service is good...they will come. After a while nobody will even look at the name.

No it isn't. Prove it. I'd like to see some polling on it.

I've yet to see an Irishman or Italian offended by such things. And when it comes to food there is no offense, it's absurd to think about it.

Seriously, it's not serious.

For those that happened to be offended, they really need a check up on their sense of humor. They are taking life way too seriously.

You're absolutely right. I hope he is wildly successful. My neighbor is a bit uptight but he is retired & bored.

That's my first thought, it doesn't sound like the derogatory term because it's not spelled that way, it's spelled more like a last name or even a first name.
