Ive never seen anything like that before, but it really shows GR in a good light. The people in GR are quite artistic and whoever put that together did a great job. I lived in GR for a few years when I was in my late teens and early 20s. I lived in the heritage hill area and used to walk downtown. Grand Rapids is a nice city and I enjoyed my brief time there. Too bad that GR could not be our first city instead of Detroit. Look at how nice downtown GR is compared to Detoilet. I say move our sports teams there and lets just forget about Detroit all together. If the rest of the country thought of GR when they thought of Michigan then we'd have a better reputation.

Very entertaining and very well done. Wouldn't expect a city like Grand Rapids ( metro near 800k) to complete such a difficult task, I would expect only large cities like Chicago to break a record. Replying to a previous poster, I agree, if Grand Rapids was the major city instead of Detroit ( Flint and Saginaw) the state wouldn't have such an awful reputation. When I am not in Michigan those that just adore the state speak of its western and northern parts. Many people in Chicago also visit Michigan, some own vacation properties here too. I once read that it was even popular for First Lady Obama to vacation in Manistee Natinoal Forest as a child.

I bet a lot of cities wish they were "dying" like GR. I love it... a city wide F-You to Newsweek.
