Setting here at the key board with a damp cold towel around my neck yet still sweating up a storm and cussing.
I look at the weather station display it showes.
Outdoor temp 96F, heat index 116, wind SW @ 6 MPH, high of 11 MPH low of 6 MPH, Pressure 30.11, humidity 59%,
Indoor temp 87F Indoor humidity 52%

I sure wish I was able to sell every thing and move closer to Hudson bay or some place cooler.

Come on winter!!!!!!!!!

Really I know I shouldn't complain as 19 tornados didn't hit the state the same day. None took a 6 mle long strip out of town, We are not under 23 feet of water.
But if people can crab about a little snow and cold I can crab about this stinking heat, and yes I do stink.

Al

Same here. Most people don't agree but I'm hoping this will be the gateway to another really nice summer like last year. When it's winter I like real snow. When it's summer I like it to be warm and sunny, even humid if that's what it takes to not be cold and rainy. I don't like having to wear a winter coat in the summer. Michigan has 4 seasons and I like to see the best of them all.

Agreed with both of these posts, I love me some hot weather!!! One thing I can't stand is an overcast summer day, it's just so oxymoron-esque.

In the winter I really only like winter storms and lake effect snow. Everything else can shove it.

Oh, Al, I'm right there with you.

I sat around fanning myself like a wilted Southern Belle, thinking "Hey! Summer was nice! Now where's winter?"...

Ohhhh, if we can just hold onto the numbers starting with 7 just a weeeee bit longer. By wee bit longer I mean until late July. And maybe go back to numbers starting with 7 by mid-August. I can cope with that.
