And the petition was started 6 months ago. Give me a break. To call it other than what it really is (unjustified, and based on hard feelings and nothing else), is just trying to justify being sore losers.

Like him or not...I think Rick is headed us in the right direction, and its showing.
Some of us would prefer if we didn't come the northern hybrid equivalent of Mississippi and Texas.

Not going to happen, and CAN'T happen in reality. Most of their underlying problems are cultural and not economic. Just another strawman argument to try and pull the discussion away from reality.

Like I already explained in the post you quoted. Most of their problems are cultural and not economic based. We DON'T have the same culture as Mississippi, Texas or most Southern states. One person acting as Governor doesn't have the power or ability to change a States cultural base. So therefore, to trot that argument out is total BS.

Positive. I used to live in Texas and my brother lived in Mississippi for quite a long time. I'm not answering any more of these and dragging the topic any further from the thread.

I said I don't want Snyder to turn our state into a Texas/Mississppi hybrid, and then you responded that we won't end up that way because we're culturally different from both states.

We already have the racial problems (SE Michigan) and the ultra conservative folks (the rest of Michigan), so I don't see the cultural difference.

The recall petition was totally unjustified and just a tactic used by sore losers. The guy is doing what he said he would and is making a difference. I don't know what's wrong with TX -- they are creating jobs and that's what MI needs.

Snyder has a lot of work to do to get us out from under the policies of the Granholm years and could use a bit of support.
