But that doesn't fit with the theme of "Snyder only cares about rich CEOs from giant evil corporations". So I don't blame people for leaving that out when bashing Snyder.
Since you want to go there, The unions in Lansing actually took a rather significant concession under Benero.

But that fact isn't important either.

While your are at it, this austerity program, the States broke, no jobs, no money.... Why not consider something a little more bold. How about putting the UP up for sale.! After all remember, you seldom go there if ever, its a frozen tundra, a drain on the States coffers..... I am sure it would bring a considerable amount, ! Real or not , Michigan would find it a win _ win ether way. Just think of the publicity it would stir up!.I can think of several buyers , and , they have cash !!!

HA!!! Likewise.

Oh well.

Anyways, it'll be interesting to watch the crime trends as the austerity goes into effect this October and how the cash-strapped taxpayers will handle these "criminals."

I like the idea of selling the UPPER. Then maybe persons could devlope the good ports on the great lakes surrounding nearly all of it. Set up manufacturing of many things with many resourses the UPPER has to offer.

Good Idea.
Today would be a good time to sink Macinaw Island too.

Actually , There are many freighters that are Canadian, and never go through the SOO locks. I see em every day almost, here in Marquette Harbor. Also, many Canadian truckers come thru Marquette as its better road and shorter when doing cross country routes across Canada. They would love to see an interstate across the UP.( Lets make it a toll road ).

Actually, I wouldn't mind getting rid of the UP either.

When you're broke, you sell off your assets to break even.

Canada would love to have it (back).

Tim Scubic reported on the news this morning Tricky Ricky wants to be a one termer. He wants to go fishing or play golf and some other stuff. If he resigned now he could make a bunch of people happy includeing his self. North Carolina has some really nice golf courses I've heard.

Hey, look on the bright side. At least he doesn't want to "Hike the Appalachian Trail".
