Sorry , but you are just fueling the right wing talking points as you were told to do. The Rightys are like sheep , they follow the leader , ...right over the cliff. The 8 years of GWB proved that.

LOL. Says the person who has been drinking the liberal left wing agenda's Kool-aid and believes that the government exists to take care of us and that they know better how to spend our money than we do. Really, they do. Just ask Alec Baldwin or George Clooney. They are celebrities, so they must know what they're talking about! Baaa....

If you are one of those right wing nuts buy into all that crap , ok. However , the US is all ready a socialist counry. has been since the twenties, and for sure in FDR days.....untill today , it continues. The Tea Bagers that speek the loudest are the same ones that will defend their Social Security. I really think the best route to follow is a balanced Government. We must have social policies in order to exist. The quality of life has become better in many Countrys than in the US.
Shall we start with Canada?...No forclousers, home values continue to grow, jobs are not in free fall as here, and , everyone gets quality health care , as they were and are entitled to have. I remember when they got single payer , they had a lot of feedback , however it did work and continues to today. I speek from knoweledge , as I have many friends who live in Canada. I go there a lot, and I get my meds from there by mail order, its a lot cheaper.
Just one example...as they are so close and so much like the average person in the US.

Oh yea real satisfied here! Take from the poor and give to the rich, we already know this doesn't work! If the recession tells you anything, giving more money to big companies doesn't have them end up giving it to the middle class in the form of jobs, they just hang on to it and spend it on themselves.

No, more like keep taking money from the working people to keep funding welfare programs for people who do not want to work and contribute.

No , its not the Big Corporations , but it is the CEOs and managment/investors. They are not puting these huge windfalls back into the business. Some are doing that now , with very low interest rates however, most just goes to Greed.

Talking Point that has little back-up. Just sounds good to those who have the mindset against social programs of any kind. ( except wars ofcoarse)

The fact that there are no time limits for receiving welfare benefits speaks volumes......

I know there are some people who are in favor of all kinds of social programs as long as somebody else pays for them.

No time limits on wars ether. Infact , no budget ether....thats why, in part , we are in such a hole. Wars are the first place to start. I agree, we do need to clean up the welfare mess.... However , turning it all over to private , for profit, corporations , is the wrong way.We need a balance, thats always good, time wins out on that one...in the past, and in our future.
