I can only imagine more people are picking Minnesota because it has 10,000 lakes in its namesake, because there's NO WAY its lakes are better than Michigan's. The other states listed down south or that have one or two lakes surrounded by mountains? Puh-lease.

I just voted. Um...isn't this kind of a no brainer, considering that Michigan has access to four of the five Great Lakes, besides having tons of inland lakes? Ohio? Really? Who even thought to put that one in the poll?

Yeah, no doubt. How about this for a poll: What is the best state that is shaped like a mitten?

This is a no-brainer...except for people who do not live in Michigan. We know what we got...

LOL. It can't be Ohio though, because Ohio is shaped kinda like a big heart. You know, as in, "The Heart of It All"? Who comes up with this stuff?

The heart... well it sounds like Huey Lewis is saying the heart of rock and roll is in Cleveland.... because that's where the rock and roll hall of fame is.

Am I the only one who thinks the UP is shaped like a running jackrabbit? Nobody else I talk to thinks so.
