From what I know Holland is a safe town, very nice area. What is not safe is putting your address on the internet. You should be very carefull about putting any personal information on the internet, identity thieves could use it, or even a stalker. Most people here on CD are good people but you never know who might use personal information to do something harmfull. Be safe and good luck with your move.

I agree with Daniel on both points.

I don't know Holland well enough to say that every block is a very good neighborhood, but I don't ever recall hearing anything bad about the town. It certainly does NOT compare to Benton Harbor or Muskegon. Your biggest complaints are likely to be heavy snows in early winter and car traffic at tulip time.

If I were you, I would edit your post to take the premise number out, leaving just the street name.
Good luck, Chloe

This area is hit or miss. It's close to Hope college and there's a mix of rentals and permanent residents. It's about a mile from downtown.

Why didn't you post the cross streets instead (Central and 15th)? If I were you, I would keep looking because you posted the house number.

Certainly not the "best" part of the downtown area... :-)
many properties in this neighborhood are not kept up very well and owned by out of town landlords.
It's also very close to Hope College student housing.

The entire town is really safe though. It just depends on how much stuff you want to put up with from your neighhbors.

Then you might want to avoid Enschede or Bijlmeer.
(sorry, could not resist).

On the radio today. Some study determined that 68% of burglars use social media websites (such as C.D.) to target their victims.
