What do you think, should Michigan have a forum for Northern MI and or the UP. I mean Minnesota has one for Duluth. I see that A2 just got one.

Unless there have been a ton of Ann Arbor questions in the Detroit forums (where I never go), I know there have been a lot more U.P./Northern MI threads on the main boards then anywhere else that is not GR/Detroit related.

But maybe the Detroit folks are getting fed up with answering A2 questions? I really don't know.

Sorry, Yes I think there should be a seperate U.P./Northern MI subforum if there is going to be a A2 subforum. It may even help tourism up north to have all the threads praising the Great North in one spot

But with Grand Rapids, Detroit and now Ann Arbor separated out, the Michigan forum is pretty much northern Michigan.

Not true. Southwest Michigan has a number of threads.

Give Gaylord it's own forum and see who shows up to post.

Both Ann Arbor and Duluth are peculiar forums. Not many posters on either one.

However, at times, a new forum attracts those who wouldn't otherwise post on it. I'd probably be half tempted to view a 'UP' or 'Northern Michigan' thread much more than just a generic MI forum.

But, of course, there could be very few if any posters posting on it.
