Pros: they are nice, and have individual leases (nothing like a dead-beat roommate to ruin your credit). There are tons of students around, decent public transportation, and there is always something going on. I believe there are individual locks on the bedrooms.

Cons: You are surrounded by students, who may not be as quiet or respectful as you may like. The bath police force patrols the crap out of Chandler Rd, and the EL side is all over Abbott. It's a long way out from downtown. If one of your roommates leaves, you will have someone else placed with you, without much choice (unless you find the replacement).

But, depending upon your age, could be the best time of your life.

my fav part of it, thats in a semi- rural area, it wouldnt be a big transition, to where im living now In Ionia County, which is in the middle of cornfields, but im not planning on moving until june, so i have time still.

It's not really rural there. I mean, further out on Chandler into Bath, yes it is rural, but not right there. They have 5k+ rental units in five or six complexes, a strip mall with 3 bars, and you're less than 3 miles from downtown EL. Not exactly comparable to rural Ionia County.

I just want to caution you that you will not see less congestion or a huge difference from other places in EL due to the nature of the complex. If you're really looking for something low-key, you should check out in Bath or up in Dewitt.

I wouldn't really recommend that if you want the college lifestyle, but if you're an older student and must be in a rural area, Chandler is NOT the place to look.
