Do Holland and Grand Haven have a lot of hills or are they mostly flat?

Look at a Topography map and make that call yourself. What is hilly to one person may not be to another. The area has more hills than Southern Florida, but is flatter than Western Colorado. Depends on your perspective.

I bike quite a bit. It basically has no hills. Nothing of any consequence anyway.

Are you thinking of biking it?

What I was actually thinking was, if I were to move there, how hard it would be to drive in snow in the winter. I haven't driven up a hill in snow in about 20 years.

Holland and Grand Haven are virtually flat and the towns are both meticuously plowed, salted and sanded in the winter. Maybe at the height of a storm, but within hours, it's open and safe.

Safe driving is not an issue.

If you're right along the beach by the primary dune line, it can be a bit hilly, but once you get a little ways inland, it gets very flat very quickly.

That really was a biker question, wasnt it? I was thinking the same thing. (I'm a cyclist, too....love hills)
