Has anyone ever gone to the GH Salmon Festival? It is coming up September 21-23 and I am considering going to it. Can someone give me some feedback on the event please? I see there will be a fishing contest. Will that make fishing on the pier (as a rookie) even possible, with all the contestants vying for a good spot? Or do most people go out on a boat for this contest? What about the other events? Are they well organized? Would appreciate your thoughts.
