We need a good snowfall this winter for sure. Not sure if we will get one though the way things are going so far. Thanksgiving isn't supposed to be in the mid-upper 50's like they are predicting for us this year. A person is supposed to get some good chilly weather and probable snow around now.

Lone dissenter here. I am an RN who works nights, so the less ice and snow I have to drive in after dark, the better. Of course, our dog is much happier with this weather too, since we are more likely to take her for walks when the wind chill is not 10 degrees.

It's only November.

The official start of winter isn't even for another month.

I mean, yeah, the weather overall has been boring for the last 12 months, but come on now...

Another dissenter here too. I'm a jogger who likes to get my miles run on bare ground and not on ice and snow. Once it comes to that I'm grounded until spring. However, I HATE seeing the water levels so low, and I HATED seeing everything so dry last summer. We need snow to get the levels back up, and I hope we get tons of rain next spring. I guess I want the impossible which is the benefits of snow without actually having any.

I am not disappointed either. Many of my immediate family members have very long drives to work and I worry
when there is snow and ice on the roads. I only work 10 miles from home and there have been
times it took me an hour to get home when it snows. Pushing a grocery cart in a parking lot with ice
and snow is not fun either. I would rather have rain. I agree with you Luzette!
