About the time this thread was initially posted, we in Genesee county along with many other places were under a severe ice storm (I along with many of my neighbors were without power for up to seven days.) The utility workers from different states were up here working on power lines, downed trees and other hazards around the clock. Some friends and I were huddling at a McDonalds to stay warm and charge various devices one afternoon when a crew of utility workers from Illinois came in. One of my friends jumped up to the counter and paid for their meal, which was really nice.
Now add to all that....we are wet drilling a water well.....you just can't stay dry.

That totally does not sound like fun!

We don't...

There are very few times we drill in the winter.

It would have to be a past customer or, an emergency.

All you can do is were under armor.....lots of layers...and dozens of gloves.

Nope. Never in my life have I seen a dry well-driller at the end of the day. I swear you guys (used generically because I know you are a woman ) could wear a dry-suit and still wring water out of your socks at the end of a days drilling.
