Great win, great coach! That was a fantastic example of how football should be played.

I was at the Winter Classic and there were plenty of guys who had their Spartan Nation green under their Red Wings jerseys. I bet you some of them swore they would never set foot in the Big House - but being part of history and Red Wings record making was too great a draw. I got home and watched the tail end of the game. I think given the outcome in AA, everyone was happy MSU won.

Nice win MSU!

One of the local papers here had the headline "Roses are Green!"

Were any Spartan fans from Michigan State bummed to leave the warm weather in L.A. and return to East Lansing?

Actually went out to the game. Spent the week in LA. A green wave engulfed the entire metro area. Spartans everywhere. 26K at pep rally; 60K estimated at the game. It was like a home game. The Rose Bowl became Spartan Stadium. Colorado Ave, the main drag in (very cool) Pasadena, became Grand River. There are even 2 giant "Spartans Will" billboards greeting us at LAX. Amazing experience. Had we lost, it still would have been great. But the fact we won... the cherry on the top ...GO GREEN!!

L.A. and the Bay Area(Stanford) have animosity toward each other.

MSU was the only team that Angelenos could possibly support.
