they should invest it in fixing the state, Just keep it out of Granholms pockets or the pockets of her friends.

Invest it in Mass Transit. Detroit needs to be connected and whole to ever compete with comparable cities. Our economy is driven by the big cities, not the suburbs.

They're projecting more than that as a deficit for next year so why not do something crazy and reduce next year's deficit rather than just flush the money?

Because that would make sense, and we all know that cannot be tolerated in any form of Government.

Give the money to Uncle Sam as an IOU, just like the other $1.7 Trillion in social security windfalls that was taken from taxpayers and spent on "other" over the last twenty years.

Windfalls have never lasted long in politics...it is funny money that can be spent without political fallout as once out of the taxpayers wallet, memory is soon forgotten...

I think we should send it to Iraq. Although $350 Million on top of $250 Billion going there this year is just a drop in the bucket.
