Hello everyone,

My husband and I finally got a break. He was offered a job that includes full benefits and is not auto related. But its located in Virginia. I was born and raised here but I will say I am glad to be leaving. I have 5 yrs of office experience working with auto executives and other office staff and I can not find a job here to save my life. I wish everyone the best of luck.

So I have heard. My husband has been there a week now. He said that in his hotel room there is an entire magazine filled with all the historical places to see and attractions in the area. The only problem we are having is finding a vehicle to get the rest of us there.

Where in VA? (if you don't mind me asking)

It is a beautiful state and it's warm in March.

Default You will love the south.

It was 78 here yesterday, I looked on the northmichigan snowman cam, and they got hit with another 8 inches of that cold white crap.
the trees are blooming and the grass is greening. sun shining. and the economys are moving. Things may slow here also but Michigan is headded for disaster. Good luck in moving to the south, it is rising again as predicted.

My husband was teasing me about the weather there. He did say that the nights are still a bit chilly but that's OK by me. Heck, his low isn't even our high. Plus, I am really looking forward to showing my kids all the historical places. Not to mention go on some ghost tours.

My sister in law lives in the Hampton Roads area and likes it very much (she has a horse farm) You should love VA. I can recommend a trip to Charlottesville (my mom is in Ivy) and the area west of there like Wintergreen and the rest of the Blue Ridge!

JD - I PM'd you. We're in the same boat - possibly leaving MI for VA.

And I have to tell you - my DH would love the ghost tours!
