Every poll that I've seen on CD regarding recreational MJ legalization (be it by state or federal laws) is always at least 75% in favor of.

National polls over the last couple of years regularly show slightly over 60% want federal legalization.

What's the hold up? The first states that legalized and allowed recreational sale, such as Colorado, have been hugely successful with no overall negative impact on the citizenry other than a few dozen people complaining that they occasionally smell MJ smoke.
