Can anyone tell me about Saginaw township? We are considering moving to that area however, we would like to know more about it such as the areas between State and Brockway. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

I am not as familiar with the area as I was 10-15 years ago, but overall Saginaw Township is safe, schools are good, plenty of shopping/retail, etc...
State/Brockway is all the way to the edge of the populated area- close to where it goes rural. Coming from Midland, I've come down 47 a few times in the last 3-4 years and nothing had really changed from when I knew it better.
Sorry I'm not a great help- I was up in that area a lot more when I had friends (and later my brother) at SVSU. Unfortunately, there aren't any regular posters from the Saginaw area that I'm aware of.

I live in Saginaw Township. It's a nice area, it's better than living in the city of Saginaw and the schools are nice here it's safe for the most part and everything. The areas between State and Brockway I'm taking it you are talking between Lawndale and Passolt are nice but the housing stock is a bit older but still a nice area. You'll be close to shopping, there is a Walmart at the end of Brockway on the Lawndale end, you have Green Acres Plaza which is where Kroger is located and some other stores. That Kroger store in Green Acres was just expanded last year and is now over 100,000 square feet. State Street is the business corridor in this part of the township and Gratiot and Bay Road are in other parts of the township. State is M-58, Gratiot is M-46 and Bay is M-84 so they are all state highways.
