Hi folks,

I am seriously considering moving back to Michigan from California—I have a deadline today! —but I am very concerned about maintaining my government aid due to what’s going on with Coronavirus.

Like almost everyone who has lost their jobs due to the virus, I am on unemployment at present, and I have no way of confirming it will continue once I’m in Michigan.

I am also on California Medicaid, and I’m extremely concerned about the prospect of losing my medical insurance during this crazy time. I qualify for Michigan Medicaid, too, but I imagine things are so backed up that I’m worried I will be effectively without insurance for a while.

Does anyone have any experience relocating/applying in the time of Coronavirus, or any knowledge that might help me?

Thank you so much!
