Nobody is going to tell you where their favorite mushroom hunting places are, that's state secrets stuff. In general, look for old apple orchards and the like.any

Just make sure you are on public land. My mother had to kick off a mushroom hunting group led by a woman who was telling her trainees that acreage was her favorite.
